While these devices (Firewalls) offer protection from potential internet "attacks" they do so by blocking ports A software port is a location where information is sent through. However, while browsing through the Ea Tech Support file i noticed something interestingĪbout ports. I've had BFME for about 3 years now and never once have i gotten the Online feature to work. Hey Guys i just found this forum yesterday and I parallel your thoughts. I dislike to be molest, but I'm too depecionated with this game at online mode. so, I want to ask to you, the community, if someone has discovered the answer for this issue. I have teh same problem, i did the same things, and im feel like he. ![]() I want to understand WHY IN HELL I can't play a game which I payed for. I wouldn't even care if I found out that I can't play this "game" (man, hard no to write what i wanted  ) anymore. I would be satisfied if anyone would tell me: "You can do this and that and then this and that to see if your computer has any problem". It is far more important than ANY balance/strats issues.ĮDIT: Forgot to tell you about something. Ps.: Please, someone get the EA guys to take a look at this issue. I'm pretty sure they are asking themselves the same questions. Well, I REALLY hope that someone can help me and the others that have been having this problem. I wouldn't even care if I found out that I can't play this "game" (man, hard no to write what i wanted ) anymore. ![]() But this time, I've spent like 10+ hours trying to find a solution and EVERYTHING I tried doesn't work. On the past (like january/february), when it happened to me, I would just reinstall the game and it would work, sometimes deleting options.ini and others configs files would also solve the problem, and sometimes turning off everything + moden would also solve it. I made 21 searches at google with different terms, generic (bfme problems/bugs) and specific ("could not connect to battle for middle-earth online") and in either way I found lots of foruns with people having the same problem, and noone being able to fix it, or understand why it happens. Ok, I looked for its solution ALL OVER the internet.
